Introduction
PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) hereinafter referred to as "PosIND", values the trust and loyalty of Customers and is fully aware that personal data is a valuable asset for Customers. Therefore, PosIND highly values the confidentiality and protection of personal data that Customers entrust in connection with the use of PosIND courier, logistics, and financial services and other PosIND Services. Customer security, comfort, and privacy are our priorities. PosIND implements policies and best practices that aim to maintain and preserve the privacy and security of Customers' personal data, in accordance with Personal Data Protection regulations. Regarding data processing that uses PosIND product and/or service Services ("Privacy Policy"). PosIND continues to strive to improve Services to Customers and continuously updates Services to protect the privacy and security of your personal data as a PosIND Customer.
1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy governs the policies and practices implemented by PosIND in obtaining, correcting, updating, disseminating, displaying, announcing, transferring, disclosing, deleting, and destroying (hereinafter referred to as "Processing") your personal data in connection with the use of PosIND courier, logistics, and financial products and/or services, including:

- Customer : Individuals, communities, business entities, or organizations that use the mail, package, logistics, and financial services delivery services and other PosIND Services provided by Pos Indonesia. For the purposes of this policy, the term Employee includes current and former PosIND employees and retirees.
- Personal Information : Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Sensitive Personal Information : Personal Information that reveals race, ethnicity, political views, religion, health, sexual orientation, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, information about criminal convictions and offenses, and as otherwise provided by law.
- PosIND Website : The PosIND Website may contain links to third party websites. These Third Party Websites are solely for the purpose of providing information and enhancing your experience, and We do not endorse, recommend, approve, guarantee, or introduce any third party or service/product within the Third Party Website. We will not be responsible for the truth, accuracy or quality of any content found on the Third Party Website. 1. Acquisition and Collection of Personal Data
Direct Data from Customers
POS obtains data directly from Customers when creating an account, contacting PosIND or filling out a form. This data includes identity data, contact information, and shipping preferences. The types of direct data collected include:.
a. Contact data : name, telephone number, address, and email.
b. Identification data : unique ID, passport photo, biometric data (facial scan and fingerprint) and social security number.
c. Shipping data : shipping address, and shipping documents.
d. Financial data : bank account, and payment details.
e. Profile data : shipping preferences, and order history.
Indirect Data
Data can also be obtained from third parties such as shippers, who ensure accuracy and legal compliance when providing information to PosIND The types of indirect data collected include:
a. Shipping information : recipient name and recipient address.
b. Contract data : activity in the contract and names of the parties.
2. Processing and Analysis
Data Processing
POS processes your personal data for legitimate operational purposes, such as contract execution, legal compliance, and optimization of the Service. Data is processed through various PosIND internal systems to support the delivery process, communication, and Customer Service.
Data Analysis
The collected data is also analyzed to improve the PosIND Service. This includes the use of customer feedback, website analytics, and cookies to learn about user behavior, delivery preferences, and to improve the customer experience.
Data Security
POS protects customer data by using firewalls, network intrusion systems, and application monitoring. PosIND secures customer data with Pseudonymity Techniques (data protection by removing some sensitive data) and encryption when storing and transferring customer data.
3. Storage
POS will store Customer data as long as it is still needed to run the Service, fulfill contractual obligations, and legal compliance. To fulfill applicable legal obligations, PosIND will store some Customer data for a period of up to a maximum of 10 (ten) years and/or in accordance with applicable provisions in Indonesia.
4. Correction and Update
POS grants the Customer the right to correct or update inaccurate personal data. If the Customer finds that the data stored by PosIND is incorrect or no longer relevant, the Customer may request a request for correction.
5. Appearance, Announcement, Transfer, Dissemination, or Disclosure
Data transfer
POS will share or forward your data for the purposes stated in the Privacy Policy and only if permitted by applicable law and with adequate protection. Categories of data recipients include:
a. Pos Indonesia: Your data may be transferred to Pos Indonesia for the purpose of providing and improving the Services.
b. Business Partners: We may need to transfer data to partners to assist in the management and provision of the Services.
c. Authorities: If required by law or regulation, your data may be transferred to authorities.

Data is collected through various Services, including websites, applications, social media, or through direct communication between Customers and PosIND

Collected data is stored as long as necessary to provide the Service or in accordance with the applicable data retention policy.

a. Profiling : Data is used to assess risk, map preferences, and segment Customers based on transaction data and use of PosIND's financial Services
b. Service Evaluation and Improvement : Data is analyzed to evaluate and update Service features from time to time, in order to improve user experience.
c. Risk Management : Data analysis is used to identify potential risks related to the financial Services provided, including preventing money laundering or terrorism financing.
Use of Data for Business Purposes
Data is analyzed for marketing the Service, promoting new products, and offering loyalty programs such as prizes or sweepstakes. In addition, PosIND also offers advertisements and promotions from third parties who collaborate with PosIND, based on analysis of Customer behavior and preferences.
Data Security During Processing
POS ensures that processed data remains safe and protected from unauthorized access, by implementing technologies such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt communications and the use of multi-layered security systems.
3. STORAGE
Data Storage Commitment
POS is committed to storing Customer personal data with the best protection as long as the data is needed to provide the Service.
Storage Location
Personal data can be managed, processed, and stored by third parties who work with PosIND both in Indonesia and outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, while still complying with applicable regulations and legal obligations.
Storage Duration
POS will store personal data as long as it is necessary to achieve the purpose of its collection, as long as the Customer is still using the Service, or as long as such storage is required by POS PosIND's data retention policy and laws and regulations in Indonesia.
Termination of Storage
POS will stop storing personal data or delete methods that allow identification of the Customer as soon as the purpose of collecting the data is no longer necessary, either for legal or business purposes.
4. DATA CORRECTION AND UPDATES
Right to Request Correction
Customers have the right to ask PosIND to correct, complete, and/or update personal data that is found to be inaccurate. This can be done by contacting the communication channels available in the PosIND Privacy Policy
Customer Obligations
Customers are encouraged to play an active role in ensuring the accuracy and updating of their personal data from time to time, in order to maintain the quality of the Service.
PosIND Actions Against Inaccuracies
If there is inaccuracy in the provision of personal data by the Customer, PosIND has the right to stop the Service and/or transactions based on PosIND's knowledge and considerations
5. DISPLAY, ANNOUNCEMENT, TRANSFER, DISTRIBUTION, OR DISCLOSURE

POS will not sell, exchange, display, announce, transfer, disseminate, and/or disclose Customer personal data or any information related to the use of PosIND Services unless regulated by applicable laws and regulations.
Disclosure of Data for Legal Interests
Personal data obtained and collected by PosIND may be disclosed to government agencies or other authorized parties based on laws or cooperation agreements, including for the interests of:
a. Ongoing legal processes.
b. Protection of the safety of PosIND, Customers, or others.
c. National security, law enforcement, or state administration.
d. Supervision of the financial services sector, monetary, payment systems, and financial system stability.
Digital Audit and Forensics
Personal data may be disclosed for the purposes of internal audits and/or digital forensics for criminal acts or violations of regulations within PosIND and its affiliates.
Disclosure to Third Parties
POS may disclose personal data to third parties to ensure Services to Customers, such as supporting government or carrying out state functions. This disclosure is carried out by maintaining data security, so that there is no misuse of personal data.
6. DELETION AND DESTRUCTION
Right to Erase and Destruction
POS can delete and/or destroy Customer's personal data from the system right to erase in accordance with applicable laws and regulations or PosIND's data retention policy or at the Customer's request.
Exceptions to Data Deletion
Deletion does not apply if the data is still needed for :
a. Fulfilling legal obligations.
b. Needs for evidence in the future, tax, audit, and accounting.
c. If the data is still within the retention period based on laws and regulations.
