RAPA Conference Day 2
On the second day, November 26, 2024, Pos Indonesia hosted the RAPA Conference Meeting in Jakarta. The event was attended by Pos Indonesia's CEO, managing director, and representatives from Thailand Post, Vietnam Post, and Kota Capital Advisors. The meeting discussed strategic steps for regional collaboration in facing challenges and opportunities in the e-commerce sector.
The opening began with remarks from the CEO of Pos Indonesia who emphasized the company's transformation potential in the e-commerce market, as well as expectations for the RAPA (*Regional Asian Post Alliance*) initiative. Several keynote speakers shared their views, including Mr. Kong Chinang who highlighted the importance of cross-border collaboration to overcome e-commerce challenges, and Ms. Tapanee from Thailand Post who shared their experiences in adapting to the growth of the sector.
The presentation from Vietnam Post highlighted the need for innovation and collaboration in expanding global markets (*CFA 1*), building e-commerce ecosystems (*CFA 2*), and creating supply chains for goods and retail (*CFA 3*). One of the challenges discussed was the uncompetitive UPU rate, which requires shared best practices and collaborative marketing campaigns.
The CEO of TikTok Vietnam was also present to provide perspective on the potential partnership between TikTok and RAPA. TikTok is proposed as the platform to generate product traffic, while RAPA will handle the delivery logistics. This opens up great opportunities in
