Jakarta, January 21, 2025 - PT Pos Indonesia (PosIND) supports the country's young soccer talents to penetrate the international arena through the 2025 Gothia Cup Tournament in Sweden. This support is also in line with the Government's Asta Cita program. PosIND's support was provided by PosIND Regional 2 Jakarta to the Persigawa Soccer School (SSB). Where, SSB Persigawa, which is currently ranked first in the Compass League for the 15-year-old age group, will compete in the U15 Gothia Cup Tournament in Sweden.

“This step is part of PosIND's efforts to support national soccer to take part in the international arena,” explained PosIND Corporate Secretary, Tata Sugiarta. The Gothia Cup is one of the largest youth soccer tournaments in the world that has been held regularly since 1975. The event is attended by teams from various countries around the world. Tata explained, this support is part of PosIND's commitment as a BUMN to encourage young talents to develop and be able to excel at the world level. Also in line with efforts to regenerate national footballers.

“This support not only encourages young players, but we hope to inspire people to care more about developing the talents of our younger generation,” explained PosIND Corporate Secretary, Tata Sugiarta. This step is also in line with the Government's Asta Cita Program which supports the advancement of the younger generation in various fields, including sports.

Tata said, PosIND's support for SSB Persigawa is a clear proof of the synergy between the business world and sports in advancing Indonesian football. PosIND hopes that this small step can help the big dreams of young players to make the nation proud on the international stage. “PosIND together with SSB Persigawa want to show that young Indonesian talents are able to compete at the world level. Let us together make Indonesia proud in Sweden,” added PosIND Corporate Secretary, Tata Sugiarta.
