PosIND Strengthens Logistics Business in Customer Gathering Logistic Day 2025
Lumajang, February 12, 2025 - PosIND successfully held Customer Gathering Logistic Day 2025 in Lumajang as a form of appreciation for customers and to explain the company's strategy in facing the challenges of an increasingly competitive logistics industry. This event is a momentum for PosIND to strengthen relationships with customers and business partners in order to strengthen logistics and courier services in various sectors.
Present at the event were the Regional Secretary of Lumajang Regency, Drs. Agus Triono, M.Si., representing the Acting Regent of Lumajang Regency, as well as several other important officials such as PosIND's President Director, Faizal R. Djoemadi, PosIND's Director of Courier and Logistics Business, Tonggo Marbun, and Director of Post and Broadcasting at the Directorate General of Digital Ecosystems of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Gunawan Hutagalung, who joined online. In addition, the Rector of the Open University, represented by the Head of the Teaching Management Center, Arif Rachman Susila, S.E., M.Si., and other PosIND executives, including EVP Enterprise Business Jaka Sunara, EVP Regional 5 East Java Bali Nusra Fahdian Yunardi, and President Director of Pos Logistics Arifin Mukhlis, were also present.
In his remarks, PosIND President Director Faizal R. Djoemadi highlighted the significant changes in traditional financial services that are starting to be abandoned due to developments in banking technology. “In the end, we have to realize that for financial services, the sunset is not easy,” said Faizal. This shows that PosIND realizes the challenges it faces and the importance of transforming its business to remain relevant amidst shifting market needs.
As a strategic step, PosIND is further strengthening the courier and logistics business as the company's main pillar. PosIND's Director of Courier and Logistics Business, Tonggo Marbun, emphasized the importance of increasing revenue in this sector. “This means that for every Rp1 revenue loss in its financial business, Pos must boost Rp3 revenue in its courier business,” he said. This reflects the company's commitment to adapting to economic changes and expanding the market for its logistics business.
In addition to strengthening the logistics business, PosIND is also committed to improving service quality by utilizing technology and accelerating the distribution process.
