Pos Indonesia and Garuda Indonesia Discuss Potential Strategic Cooperation
PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) and Garuda Indonesia held a meeting at the Garuda Indonesia Management Building, Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, on January 8, 2025 to explore the potential for strategic cooperation in various logistics and transportation sectors. The meeting was attended by Pos Indonesia President Director Faizal R. Djoemadi, along with Courier and Logistics Business Director Tonggo Marbun, Business Development and Portfolio Management Director Prasabri Pesti, as well as Garuda Indonesia Finance & Risk Management Director Prasetio and Commercial Director Ade R Susardi. The discussion covered four main agendas, namely cooperation in the management of Hajj cargo, last mile, middle mile air transport services, and the utilization of the Pos Indonesia network to strengthen national logistics distribution.
President Director of Pos Indonesia, Faizal R. Djoemadi, said that this collaboration will bring great benefits to both parties and strengthen the national logistics ecosystem. “This cooperation is a strategic step in supporting shipping efficiency and expanding service coverage, so that we can provide faster, safer and more integrated logistics services,” said Faizal.
Garuda Indonesia's Commercial Director, Ade R Susardi, added that this synergy is in line with Garuda Indonesia's efforts to strengthen cargo services and logistics distribution throughout Indonesia. “This partnership will open new opportunities in the development of air and land logistics services, supporting the needs of the community and the industrial sector in various regions,” Ade added.
This cooperation is expected to increase the efficiency and range of services of both companies, strengthen the national logistics ecosystem, and support the acceleration of delivery to all corners of Indonesia. This collaboration is also part of Pos Indonesia and Garuda Indonesia's efforts to expand services and present more integrated logistics solutions, both for domestic and international needs.
