Operation of Affordable Food Markets: Synergy of Various Ministries and Institutions

The Cheap Food Market Operation is a collaboration between various parties, including PosIND. On Thursday, February 27, 2025, Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs, Zulkifli Hasan, met with the President Director of PosIND, Faizal R. Djoemadi, and the Director of Courier and Logistics Business at PosIND, Tonggo Marbun, at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs, Jakarta.

The meeting was to finalize the steps and activities of the market operation throughout Indonesia during the month of Ramadan. The Cheap Food Market Operation is based on President Prabowo's directive to maintain the stability of staple food prices. The Cheap Food Market Operation is led by the National Food Agency. PosIND plays a role in distributing staple food ingredients and providing operational points for the Cheap Food Market Operation throughout Indonesia. The staple food commodities available at the market operation are cooking oil, garlic, consumption sugar, frozen buffalo meat, and SPHP rice. The food supply comes from state-owned food enterprises Perum BULOG, PT RNI, PTPN, PT Berdikari, and PT PPI.
