278th Anniversary Series, PosIND Holds Basketball and Tennis Tournaments Between BUMNs
Bandung – October 11, 2024, PosIND Human Capital Management (HCM) Director Asih Kurniasari Komar officially opened the BUMN Basketball and Tennis tournament at the International Business and Logistics University Sports Center (GOR ULBI). This activity is part of a series of PosIND's 278th Anniversary which was celebrated on August 26.
The activity was attended directly by the Chairman of the Bhakti Pos Indonesia Education Foundation Kiagus Muhammad Amran, Senior Vice President (SVP) of Human Capital Services and Business and SVP Risk Management. The opening was marked by the handover of a basketball from Chandra Dewi as PosIND Basketball Coach to the PosIND HCM Director and the handover of rackets and tennis balls from Endang Wahyudin as PosIND Tennis Coach to the PosIND HCM Director.
In his opening remarks, the HCM Director said that this event was held with the aim of upholding sportsmanship, maintaining health and safety, and enjoying every moment of the tournament. "This tournament is not just a sports competition, but also a forum to strengthen brotherhood, establish cooperation, and strengthen solidarity among all representatives of Basketball and Tennis athletes," Asih continued.
This year is the 3rd year of the basketball tournament with the theme "3rd BUMN Logistics Cluster Basketball Cups 2024". This year's tournament was held for three days from 11 to 13 October 2024. There were 7 BUMNs that sent their athletes, namely Perum DAMRI, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), PT INKA (Persero), PT Angkasa Pura I, PT Aviasi Pariwisasta Indonesia (Injourney), PT Pelindo (Persero), and PosIND as the host. In this year's tournament, PosIND prepared 2 teams to compete among other BUMN Logistics Clusters.
At the same time and place, PosIND also held a tennis championship with the "PosIND President Director's Cup Tennis Tournament" at the ULBI Tennis court. This activity was attended by 9 teams representing PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Perum BULOG, PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), Bank BTN, Bank BNI, Bank BRI, ULBI, and 2 teams from PosIND. The tournament which is planned to be held for three days competes for trophies and cash with a total of 50 million rupiah.
